My Art. On Things.

Alternate title: What the hell, my art is on things.

I’ve been doing many Skillshare classes over the last few months. If you’re not familiar with Skillshare, it’s a site where you can watch classes on nearly anything. Art, technology, crafts, photography, business, leadership, productivity… shall I go on? I’ve been watching everything from how to paint leaves and cacti to how to digitize my work and use Photoshop.

You can receive 2 months of Premium Skillshare by using this referral link.

Along with classes, they offer Workshops. The best one I’ve watched so far, is the one called Make and Sell Watercolor Art: From Painting to Products by Cat Coquillette. She walked the views through painting a piece, editing the piece in Photoshop, and manipulating it to use with Print on Demand (POD) services like Society 6 and Redbubble.

I watched the classes (several times each). I did my project. I made accounts on Redbubble and Society 6. I listed a pattern. I freaked out.

Today, I received the orders I placed. The ones that I made so I would know how terrible my creations looked on a shower curtain and a laptop case.

Spoiler: They don’t look bad.

The Laptop Case from Society 6

These are both from my Butterflies + Flowers = Butterflowers collection. But you can also find goodies in the Rainbows and Bullshit collection on both sites. More coming! Holiday stuff, too! (SHOP NOW HERE)
