Oh, old school blogging, how I’ve missed you!
Remember the days of lists and tagging your friends to answer questions about themselves? That, to me, was true blogging. That’s where I first dug into learning about other people, soaking up their answers and commenting and nodding in agreement to crazy things they had to say.
Anyway, I got tagged to share five random things about myself. Here goes.
I was bald until I was two. Then I had red hair. And then it turned mousy brown. I’ve never naturally had black or blonde hair, though.
I am ambidextrous. I am not an amphibian like I once told someone I was. Whoops. I do everything except write and cut left-handed.
I put on tennis shoes when there’s a severe thunderstorm or tornado watch/warning. Never know when you’ll have to jam. I may or may not have slept in tennis shoes once (or twice) for this reason.
Meat on a bone grosses me out. That means chicken wings, chicken legs, chicken thighs, bone in ribeye, bone in pork chops, ribs… For some reason this is really polarizing when you announce it at a cookout.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love the food, the parade, the dog show, the memories, the fact that it’s not a gift-giving holiday, and the way it forces us to sit still and be grateful.
